Frivolous Friday | The Urkel and Gratefulness

If you’ve seen any of my Facebook posts this week, then you know I have spent a majority of the week nursing my little fella back to health.  As much as I would love to go on and on about the glamorous life of a stay-at-home Mom with a sick one at home… I’ll spare you the details.  Instead I thought I’d share some images of me strutting my stuff last summer.  I owe a big thank you to Nicole Bond of Inspired Joy Photography and Katie Brase of Katie Brase Photography for capturing this fantastic action shots.

This image just warms my heart and temperature.  Fellow photog’s, was it just me or was every Saturday hotter than the blue blazes last year?!

This is how you squat in a skirt ladies – legs together, knees to the side.

If you’re taller than 5 foot 8 inches, you may be asked to kneel so I can grab a shot of your boutonniere.  What can I say, I’m vertically challenged people.

Why the Urkel slouch, Saleina, why?!  I committing right here and now to rid myself of  “The Urkel” –  it’s just not pretty.

When I see these pictures I am filled with gratefulness.  They remind how hard I’ve worked and how far I’ve come, how much I love seeing the world through my camera, how inspired I am by each every love story I capture and how incredible my life truly is – even when I’m working a mop and playing nurse.

Happy Frivolous Friday!
