I adore Danielle & Tim! They are young, fresh, spunky and when it came to their engagement pictures they were up for anything. I LOVE that! They didn’t even complain when I lead them on a wild goose chase on the south end of Bainbridge Island. Two phone calls (thank you Katie!) and a couple u-turns later we finally arrived at our destination…Port Blakely. Based on my stellar navigational skills, I think it is pretty clear that I had not been to Port Blakely before. Feeling a little frazzled, we hiked down the trail to the park (Danielle in her heels…rockstar!) not really knowing what to expect. Once the trail opened up we where in the midst of a photographer’s paradise (friends always give the best recommendations..thanks again Katie!) An old military bunker complete with graffiti on a beautiful pacific northwest beach….awwh! If it sounds like I was excited, you should have seen Tim’s face light up when he saw the bunker. It was big boy play time! Tim, a firefighter, couldn’t help to but climb & explore every inch of the bunker…the mom in me was a little nervous about the potential for fall. Fortunately, we didn’t need to utilize Danielle’s nursing skills…phew!
Danielle & Tim, you two rocked this session. I had SO much fun working with you & cannot tell you how much I appreciate your excitement & willingness to give just about anything a try. I can’t wait for your upcoming wedding! It’s going to be FABULOUS!
