Valerie + Chris’ beautiful and heart felt ceremony was set in Thornewood Castle’s secret garden. It was the perfect setting for this amazing vintage wedding. I want to thank my amazing second shooter, Nicole Bond of Inspired Joy Photography, for grabbing that great shot of the chairs and shepards hooks. Nicole is one of the best second shooters I have worked with and I can’t imagine having captured this day without all her hardwork. Thanks, Nicole!
Just moments before the ceremony, I had to grab this picture of Valerie in the staircase. OH Valerie! You are simply stunning.
After we all dried our eyes, we headed back to the castle for the reception. I always love the reception. I enjoy seeing how the couple has injected the day with their personalities. I just know that bride has pored through magazines, websites and stores to find the perfect details for her special day. Today’s details were nothing short of spectacular. Valerie and the team at TLB Events did an amazing job bringing it all together.
Valerie + Chris’ family + friends gave some of the most meaningful and thoughtful toasts I’ve heard. It’s clear that they are dearly loved and respected. 
There was no end to the vintage touches. This Cake by Celebrity Cakes was gorg and the candy bar was just as sweet as the candy.

Whenever I can, I love to sneak away at the end of the day for some low light pictures. Boy am I ever glad we did!
